Assistant Settings
Controls for the desktop Voice Assistant — a floating control and a global shortcut that let you talk to Kognar without bringing the main window forward. Assistant conversations are saved as their own chat.
Open Settings (Ctrl/Cmd+U) → Assistant.
Desktop
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enable voice assistant | Turns the floating control and the global shortcut on or off |
| Global shortcut | System-wide key combination that activates the assistant from any app. Default: CommandOrControl+Shift+Space |
| Assistant language | Same as app language, English, or Português (BR) |
Click Save Changes in the footer to apply. If a new global shortcut does not take effect right away, restart the app.
